The first time I experienced my body operating at it’s peak was almost unreal. It’s a feeling that has to be experienced to be understood. It’s a feeling that everyone deserves. After a crazy ride to the level of wellness I have today, I know that the only thing better than the absolute hum of real health is helping others reach that perfect state.
I cannot describe the benefits you can reap from taking control of your health through eating and fitness. The best I can do is liken it to the experience of driving. My driving experiences, like my diet and culinary skills have developed a lot over the years. The early adventures of both were neither glamorous, nor well chosen. After my father’s second heart attack, mom stripped the fridge of full fat dairy and meat and switched out every processed item for the fat-free, low-cal, reduced carb version on Doctor’s orders. I left home with my Lean Cuisine idea of health and purchased my first car, a shiny on the outside, scary under the hood, used Hyundai Sonata. Off I went into the great big world armed with, quite possibly the worst concepts of both eating and driving.
Mechanics never could figure out why that Hyundai’s engine would simply quit running mid-cruise down the freeway at it’s max speed of 60 miles per hour. At first it scared me, but eventually I got so used to it that I would nonchalantly pop the car in neutral and restart the engine. I had the same blaze acceptance of my energy and mood swings, fainting spells and weight fluctuations. It wasn’t until I started to experience small changes that I realized I could feel differently, better. Sure I knew there were spiffier cars on the road, and people who seemed to look and feel more rocking than me, but until I tried on change, it wasn’t real.
I transitioned in small increments. Now I have two kids and drive a Toyota 4Runner with surfboards sticking out the back more often than not. The rig gets the job done. Much like the Standard American Diet gets this nation fed. But it doesn’t compare to the feeling of flying I will have when the silent electric engine of my new Tesla propels me from zero to 60 in 3.9 seconds with no deafening roar, just silence and the satisfaction of true driving bliss without burning a single gallon of petrol! Although I don’t have my Tesla, yet, that is what I have achieved dietarily speaking. Living foods and a high-raw diet have given me access to a Tesla body that purrs from the moment I wake. I feel light, energetic, and powerful. This is the feeling I can’t keep to myself. This is what I’m here to share. So step by step, meal by meal I will offer a Delicious Revolution to anyone in search of a Rocking Body and a Real Life.
