Delicious, Quick  Dairy-Free Dessert

As far as desserts go this is a healthy choice. Protein from the almond butter, essential fatty acids from the flax, and potassium from the banana combine to form a very healthy beverage. The chocolate sauce officially makes it a dessert. Try Midnight Moo, the organic chocolate sauce available at Trader Joe’s. This recipes serves one so multiply ingredients as needed.

1 banana, peeled
2 tablespoons almond butter
1 teaspoon flax seeds
½ cup almond milk
½ cup ice
1 tablespoon Chocolate Sauce

Freeze a clean, dry pint glass for ten minutes then drizzle the inside with Midnight Moo or your favorite
chocolate syrup. Combine all ingredients in a Vita-Mix until flax seed are fully incorporated and not visible.  Pour into frozen pint glass and serve.
