What’s For Turkey Dinner?

Let’s face it, our relatives and friends will have the ham and turkey covered.  Let us focus on bringing delicious foods that rival the old school, 2-stick-of-butter-recipes with satisfying flavors that really shine. The Thanksgiving dishes on this menu don’t offer meat of any kind, nor dairy, gluten or GMOs, but they do offer healthy vegan options that will open minds and mouths to what’s possible without animal products. Happy healthy Thanksgiving!

Here is what I will be bringing to my family’s Thanksgiving Diner…

The Ginger Ruby

Artichoke Dip with Garlic Rosemary Flax Crackers

Kale in Creamy Lemon Dressing

Honey Balsamic Pearl Onions

Fresh Cranberry Relish

Everything Quinoa with Cranberries

Ginger Sweet Potato Hash

Pecan and Pumpkin Pie with Maple Cream

Download the Healthy Hottie Thanksgiving Menu and you’ll have the recipes for each and every one of these yummy options.  There are even suggested additions for those of you who want to spice the dishes up with meat or cheese.

Flexibility Makes Friends:  Do what you need to do to introduce these dishes to your family!  A little nitrate-free sausage in your stuffing or a sprinkle of Parmesan over your kale is a healthy compromise that just might open them up to new foods.

All of the rest of the requests will be on our Healthy Hottie Holiday Meal Plan for the 12 Days of Christmas.  It will give tasty options for healthy meals that can be ready & waiting for you at home after a long day of work and holiday shopping.  I know you’ll flip over the vegan potatoes au gratin, the mock-cinnamon rolls and the raw-vegan version of  chocolate turtles!  Can’t wait to share.

Thanks for the tips for a tasty feast! My tastebuds are already salivating over that sweet potato hash and the pie – Thanksgiving can’t get here fast enough:)

Thanks Ryan! We are on this stuff early over here at our house. We enjoyed the sweet potato hash this morning for breakfast. It was a win/win breakfast. I sauteed mine with a little kale and hubby had his with a fresh egg. A tasty option if you have leftovers.

    Happy Thanksgiving!
